3PL solutions

What is a 3PL provider?

Many companies spend time, money and headcount running warehouses, inventory and distribution — necessary work that generates no sales.

A 3PL (Third Party Logistics) provider takes over that operation, partly or entirely. You keep full control of your inventory and your customer relationship; we supply the infrastructure, the people and the technology.

Two ways to move your goods

The goods reach the shelf either way. What changes is how much of your capital, your people and your time stays inside the warehouse.

Running logistics yourself

  • You tie up capital in warehouse space, racking and handling equipment
  • You hire, train and supervise warehouse personnel
  • You pay the same fixed cost even when demand drops
  • Your sales team spends hours administering inventory
  • Growing means building or leasing more square meters

Outsourcing it to GLODIS

  • You use 7,200 m² of infrastructure already built and secured
  • You operate with specialized personnel and standardized processes
  • You pay for space occupied and actual goods movement
  • Your team goes back to selling and serving customers
  • You scale capacity up or down by season, with no build-out or fleet

What you gain by outsourcing

You outsource the operation, not the control

The goods remain yours and so does the customer relationship. What changes is who carries the infrastructure, the personnel and the processes.

  • Lower costs

Turns fixed warehouse, staffing and fleet costs into a variable cost that follows your real volume.

  • Higher productivity

Your team stops running warehouses and goes back to what generates revenue: selling and serving customers.

  • Greater control

Real-time inventory with lot and location traceability. You outsource the operation, not the control.

  • Growth without CAPEX

Scale storage and distribution capacity without building warehouses or buying trucks.

  • Better customer service

Faster deliveries and more accurate orders — what your end customer actually notices.

  • Less operating risk

Standardized processes, trained personnel and 24/7 secured facilities back your goods.

The six pillars

Everything a 3PL operation with GLODIS includes

You can contract them separately or as a single continuous chain. The more links the same team operates, the fewer hands touch your goods.

How we work

From the first meeting to the first delivery

No operation starts before we understand what you move, at what turnover and to where. This is the path we walk with every new client.

  1. 1

    Step 1

    We analyze your operation

We review volumes, turnover, seasonality and delivery points to understand what you actually need.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    We design the solution

We define space, processes, service levels and costs. You receive a closed proposal, with no surprises.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    We implement

We migrate your inventory, configure the WMS and train the team before taking over the operation.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    We operate

We receive, store, prepare and distribute, with your inventory visible online at all times.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    We measure results

We report inventory accuracy, delivery compliance and cost per unit to improve month over month.

The initial analysis of your operation carries no cost and no commitment.

Frequently asked questions about the 3PL model

What exactly is a 3PL provider?

A company that runs part or all of your logistics operation: warehousing, inventory, order preparation and distribution. You keep ownership of the goods and control over your inventory.

Can I contract warehousing only?

Yes. You can start with warehousing only and add inventory, order preparation or distribution when you need it. The operation is modular.

Can I store only part of my product range?

Yes. Many clients start with a single line or category, run it with us, and then bring in the rest of the portfolio.

How is a 3PL service priced?

Cost depends on space occupied, goods movement and any additional services required. After analyzing your operation we deliver a proposal detailing each component.

Do you cover beyond Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula?

Yes. Our warehouses are in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, and from there we distribute nationwide on scheduled routes.

Can I see my inventory at any time?

Yes. Our WMS gives you online access to inventory status, with lot and location detail, plus periodic reports.

Do you handle imports as well?

Yes. We can coordinate international freight and customs procedures and receive the goods directly at our warehouse, without switching providers mid-chain.

How long does it take to start?

It depends on volume and complexity, but a standard warehousing and distribution operation is usually live within a few weeks of proposal approval.

How much is running your own warehouse costing you?

Tell us what you move, at what turnover and to which cities. We analyze your operation and deliver a proposal detailing every component.
